Lenzing collaborated with start-up Lingerie Swiss Sàrl, who introduced the world's first luxury hygiene lingerie under the label Câlin Doré™ (French for ‘Golden Embrace’). This revolutionary women's underwear collection is made of TENCEL™ branded lyocell and modal fibers.

Câlin Doré™ is the result of a two-year partnership between Lenzing and Lingerie Swiss Sàrl. All fabrics used in the lingerie are products of TENCEL™ branded lyocell and modal fibers, which are made with at least 50% less carbon emissions and water consumption compared to generic lyocell and modal [1]. These specialty wood-based fibers are also certified as biodegradable and compostable [2], which means that when they reach the end of their life as a consumer item, they will not be a heavy burden to the earth.

The key feature of the collection is an extremely thin absorbent, breathable and plastic free pad, patented by Lingerie Swiss, that allows the lingerie to be worn comfortably every day, not just during menstruation and without an additional membrane. By using TENCEL™ fibers the pad is naturally soft and smooth, as well as feeling dry when needed due to the great moisture control properties of the fibers.

Debuted in an exclusive launch event on 13 June 2024 in Geneva, Switzerland, Câlin Doré™ has four designs as part of the collection – the designs come in two versions: the Daily and the Extra. The Daily is designed for everyday use while Extra is suitable for days with increased flow. The collection offers maximum comfort and an elegant luxury design – helping to make the wearer feel good any day of the month. the Câlin Doré™ pieces do not carry additives, silver ions, biocides, and are able to neutralize odors.
